On to the Civil War

The Kansas study seems to lead right into learning about Civil War since Kansas became a state just a couple of months before it started and so much of what was happening in our area was directly tied to the abolitionist/pro-slavery argument.  So we are plunging in and studying the Blue and the Grey and the Underground Railroad and Abraham Lincoln, etc. for awhile.  And since civil war seems to be the theme for this blog, this study will fit right in!
