through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."

Did you realize?

Did you realize that boys can make a weapon out of ANYTHING???  Yesterday, Joshua (age 14) was eating an apple for lunch and attempted to fashion a sword out of a slice of APPLE!!!  He did admit that it wasn't successful, but the fact that he tried to make an apple sword remains.

Right now, two boys wearing cloaks are sword fighting with light-sabers in my living room.

 Erik and Jonathan

Then other boys got in on the action (OF COURSE)!

Enter Isaac and Seth

 Whew!  He didn't really die!!!

Crazy

Joshua and I made up the words to the following song
and sing it lovingly and jokingly to each other often:

I think you're crazy.
Oh, yes I do.
I think you're crazy.
How 'bout you?

The tune has the nostalgic feel of the Looney Tunes about it.

Here is Joshua, 'dressed to kill'.

It has always taken Joshua more time
to dress for the part
than he actually has to play.

He's a character!  You gotta love him!

(Note the little Isaac character in the background!)

Star Wars

Erik just got a Star Wars game for his Gameboy.  (I will clarify here that said Gameboy was NOT purchased or endorsed by the parents but the gift of some very generous neighborhood children.  Thanks A LOT "nice" kids!)

Now he and his 3 brothers have their noses glued to the screen at any given free moment.  Since it is 'new' we are being lenient, but RATIONING will be coming soon.  At least this kind of 'screen time' doesn't involve ME in yet another War Saga.

Already our standard movie watching fare seems to be Star Wars, John Wayne, Marx Brothers, A-team, Battlestar Galatica,  Westerns, Star Wars, John Wayne, Cody Banks (Detective), The Three Ninjas, and did I mention ... Star Wars?

Guess what I'm watching right now.  Yep, you guessed it!  Star Wars

Pictures I took yesterday of the Lindsey Company

Welcome to the War Zone

At the Lindsey house, it is 'All war ALL the time.'
If the boys aren't holding a mock battle,
they're waging a real one.

Most of the time they are fun-loving,
but one personal dig too many...
and away they go.

Mayhem ensues.
If they insult one another,
that seems normal to them.
But NO ONE outside the family better pick on one of us or...
